ATP Training Rates

ATP Training Module Rates:

Each day of a basic module of training is typically approximately 8 hours and will include a one-half hour (½) lunch with a mid-morning and mid-afternoon break. The training time will always have applicable CEU value to anyone who already holds a certification credential from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).  To hold any Module of training there must be a minimum of 6 candidates registered or a the people will be notified in a timely manner and a reschedule of the training event will be planned

Basic Requirements

Basic requirements for attendance:

  • at least 18 years of age.
  • no physical or health condition that may create unreasonable risk for climber or others.
  • a minimum set of tools.
    • approved safety helmet (personal, one user)
    • Approved eye protection
    • Proper climbing clothing (proper fitting long trousers & long or short sleeved shirt)
    • Approved tree climbing boots (leather construction that supports the ankle)
    • Proper fitting gloves that permit strong grip
    • Approved, tree climbing rope – 40 meters long
    • Tree climbing lanyard  (2-N-1 recommended; two sides with three double-locking carabiners or snaps)
    • 3 Double-lock carabiners and/or double-locking snaps
    • throwline (1.75 – 2 mm diameter X 60 meters long)
    • 10-14 oz. throwbag
Note: ATP can allow two to share saddle and rope or will consider providing some basic equipment upon request at registration.
