BTRBasic Tree rigging Module ATP
Click here to view current training events. The traditionally used methods of tree rigging for removal of parts or entire trees are reviewed and discussed. The advanced forms of practice which have replaced previously used practice with the application of tools such as blocks and pulleys will be explained and handled for understanding. Many tools will be introduced and applied to clearly emphasize the advantages for reduction of personal risk and risk to site and surroundings.
As some have said, the attendee will learn to work smarter and with less difficultly. Some other tools to be used are the Port-O-Wrap for control and less negative friction on the ropes. A wide range of rope types and sizes will also be used to provide experimentation. The advantages of special knots and rope-rigging will also be practiced and learned. Attendees will be given the opportunity to rig tree limbs and trees as a practical experience.
ATP believes that learning can only truly take place when those who participate are physically involved and learn the confidence they require from doing the real work. Therefore it is a theme at ATP to do our best to provide “21st Century Tree Care Operations-Real Work” whenever possible. If you have your own work to be accomplished why not consider allowing ATP professionals to use it as a real-world learning example with your crews? Click here to view current training events.
